What's My Right?

Do I have a right...
To speak of problems
When they are nothing
But a drop
In the endless expanse of ocean?

Do I have a right...
To sometimes take things for granted
Things which others
Would hold so precious?

Is it all right...
To feel
Anger, want, sadness and fear
Or am I selfish?
When fear is something I could never understand.

Will I be forgiven
For those emotions?
When the less fortunate would love to
Worry about our worries.

Is it OK to feel like
Grass is always greener on the other side?
When for some,
My side IS the green side?

Am I self-centred
When I can't even begin to comprhend
How it feels to be in someone else's shoes?
Or when the world seems to revolve around me?

Am I?

Poetry is like the song of a fantastical nymph,
A storm of ideas,
Like a sea of emotions
washed up on shore
by foaming waves.

Poetry is to see without pictures
only through words,
To relive the past and
to peer into the furture,
And to observe the present.

Poetry is a gift for anyone
to learn,
Imagine and conjure up wild creatures
from lands beyond the horizon,
The desire for knowledge both inside and out.

Poetry is a piece of the heart,
A sacrifice
for others to learn,
And to give freely.

There was an old lady from Bree.
Who decided to climb up a tree.
To her dismay and her fright,
She stayed there all night.
She claims she was waiting for me!

Tigger jumped up up and down,
He thought he would be a good clown.
But sadly to say,
He slipped on green clay,

Hey people!!! Did you guys miss me??

I just got back about 2 hours ago so I'm feeling very tired, but excited... I can't believe I'm back!!! OOHHHHH..... everythings so different here.....

I don't even know what to write, so much stuff happened this year!! Three weddings!! THREE!! Is that even possible. Anyways, had heaps of fun in BD. Everyone asks me if it was fun or not... so now no one needs to ask me anymore... Anyway...

So what happened while I was gone?? Bet everythings changed and I missed it all!! It seems like everythings changed and I've only been here for 2 hours...

Ok Flynn... I don't really have to beg Mad Cow for the internet, but I dont want to waste her card time thingy. So I'm tryign to write this as fast as possible (which is not very fast for me).
Anyways... here's some extracts from my journal. Oh, before I start I just wanted to say that I'm going to by a nicer journal with leather cover from Aarong... don't be offeneded. The paper in my journal was too thin and I can't stick anyhting. Don't worry, I'll use the book for something else.

Ok... so let me describe a couple of people. Firstly Arif: He started crying when Zarif tryed to trip him over, but when I ran into him and his head banged into a door, he said nothing. He watches too much TV... that's why he asked us if we like any guys... it can be excused cause he is just a kid.
Next Maliha: She thinks I'm cute and keeps telling me I'm the best girl in the world and everyone knows that. And she tries to hug and kiss me, but now I'm really sick of it... i would tell her off if she wasn't so cute.
Mimi Khala: I feel so sorry for her with all those challu kids... I don't kno how she survives! But she manages... she's really nice and really likes Ammu.
Nana: My image of a typical grandfather... he couldn't be any better and really nice.

OK then... I'm really taking a long time, more about Bangali people later. Hope to see you all soon, especially Ash... I can't wait for tommorow... If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the comments in the previous post.

Hey everyone. Long time no see… more time no see to go still. But anyway… you guys want to know what I’ve been up to in Bangladesh right?

Well… I’ve been shopping a lot. I’ve been to Mouchak, Karnopholi Garden Centre, and actually that’s the only places I’ve been. But I have eaten out a lot!
I went to Fakruddin Biriyani. Khub nam koraa dokan. Then we went to Changpie to eat Chinese (even though we ate Thai soup it’s still called Chinese). And last of all, we went to Helevatia. It’s a takeaway shop like KFC. The best thing is… I haven’t even had paat batha yet! Allhamdulillah.

I also got to meet Mariam for the first time which was a really good experience. She’s really nice and I can’t wait to meet her sisters. You guys should really meet her and her family if it's the last thibg you do... after going to Hajj ofcourse. Actually... I'm using her laptop now. The one she paid with with her own money!

Anyways… you guys are probably having fun as well. Especially with you’re ‘New Beginnings’ party. You have to tell me how it was, even though Abbu already told me all about the food… I didn’t really understand him you see.

Anyway... can't wait to see you all again, but I have to run. Don't forget to comment!

So how have my fellow bloggers been going?? Anywayz.... I feel really SICK... I tink I swallowed a golf ball by accident, cause thats what it feels like every time I eat os swallow, or drink. ANd my voice sounds like a monsters! So yeah, I'm not feeling too well. You know, in the morning, I found the perfect way of describing how I felt when i got up. When I swallowed, it felt like trying to swallow a rope, and then I could feel the pain travel to my ears and EXPLODE.....

I missed out on school today, thank GOD... I dont think I would have survived out there.

OH!!! And other exciteing news:

Im going to Banladesh on November 14th (*YAY*)
My parents said I can cut my hair ( and NOT at home like I usually do) and stlye it.
I'm working on convincing them to let me put brown highlights in!

So yes... not ALL bad!!!!

Long (long) time no see

I think this blog has a thing against me! Every single time I try to create a new post, something happens! The first time I accidentally deleted a whole full post! The next time I wrote about half and the internet shutdown. The THIRD time it wouldnt even let me come to the page where you go to type posts!!!! I seriously think some higher 'deity' is trying to keep me away from blogging!

Anyway..... as i was saying in the post that was deleted, dont you all think that my previous blog template was just too much hassle and that this one is WAY better??? AND I think about 79% of the credit goes to Dagz who fixed everything for me!(thankyou Dagz!!)

So let me enlighten you on the enlightening transcript I just read for school. Its for a show called
'The Merchants Of Cool' .... i think point form would help you understand more.

Firstly.... did you know that theres a subject called Market Researching (duh!) but get this: its all about spending money to find out why and when people spend money!!! And its all so the company can make more money!!! (weird huh?)
Secondly, did you know that teens spend $150 billion a year?? So if teens consider a certain company 'cool' then that company is on their way to riches!
Did you know, in about one average day, a teen will consume about 3000 advertises in a (wait for it) ....... day!!! ITS CRAZY!!!
Parents give their kids money to say- "Hey...im sorry I cant spend time with you....here, take some money and buy your self something." We're actually pushed by parents to spend $50 billion, out of the $150 spent!!!!!
Did you know there's something called 'cool hunting'. You see, companies are so desperate to gain the teens popularity, that they spend MILLIONS hunting for a new 'cool'.

Snowman's epic journey....

I have at long last found time to tell you of my journey to hell and back, that delayed my blogging. Here I go:

I was standing ( as all Snowmans do) and enjoying my time. Then...... in the depths of winter, where everysnowman can hope to live peacefully.....it came........ Long fangs of black and green, three long clawed arms and a coat of steel wrapped around it self. This hideous creature was called SCHOOL (*background evil music playing*) !!!!!

I struggled as the creature wrapped its claws around me......and threw me into a deep chasm with no way to escape. There, deep inside the earth itself existed the HOMEWORS and ASSIGNMENTS. I struggled to escape as thousands of these animals piled on top of me.

But no mere creature, could defeat the Snowman. I defeated them all with only a few scratches and that is how i am now able to tell you my tale...

Sad isnt it??? Did it make you cry??? Are you all feeling so sorry for me now that you will let me stay at your house ( thats my new hobby dont you know??)

Ok.... I was deciding that it's about time I add some links to my blog. As you can all see, I added most of the people i know, but I thought it would be a good idea to ask the rest of people i know ( which include Nira Apu and Bump Apu only).

Welcome one and all to "my- blabbering- on- about- nothings". Since the holidays are completely booked (*wink wink...nudge nudge...cough cough...*) I shall devote a few hours to this long forgotten blog!!!
1:BE HAPPY PPLS! THE WORLD NEEDS HAPPY ENERGETIC PPL. OTHAWISE I'LL KILL YOU!!!!
2: I need food. I am a starved malnurished and chocolate deprived child (* Snowman looks up at you with puppy face*)
3: Books books books, there should be more books in the world!!!!!! And they should be cheaper...actually, that leads to another topic i think should join my list...
4: CHEAPER PRICES FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 45.
5: The legal age of an adult should be raised to 63..... KIDS WILL LIVE ON!!!!!!!!!!
6: The unfairness of teachers who pick ppl to perform based on their OWN BIAS OPINIONS is NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I may be quiet in class, but i'll have them know that I am a proud debater with two whole years of experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My pride has been deflated! She should have picked me!!!!!!! those ppl didnt even know what the HELL they were talking about.....probably a load of CRAP they got from their PARENTS ( mind the swearing + my speech came from my sister so that doesnt count!!!)

Ok fellow pplz. I have a major prob- I am totally lost!!

Fill me in... i feel dumb and its not a nice feeling!! I have no idea what you guys have been up to and its not entirely my fault! I know... I know, you all think that I should spend less time on neopets. But lets face the facts here, neopets is WAY more entertaining than any BLOG ( * face curled up in a disguisted sneer*) !! T_T If only neopets were allowed at school, it would be my sanctuary.

I have a question and I'm hoping you'll answer. I'm not asking for essays though, short and sweet will do.
So here it is: Why do humans have to eat?? I mean...don't you think it would be a heck of a lot easier to just go through photosynthysis like plants? We would never get fat or obese and never have to go to the toilet!! And we would also save a lot of time not eating!! On top of that...we would have more room in our bodies because the excretery (is that how you spell it??) and digestive system would be gone, who knows... maybe with those parts gone, it would have made more room for other weird and wonderful things!
Give me an answer PLEASE!! I'm sick of all this thinking!! I swear to you that i never thought I learnt anything in science class until now! Do year eights even study bioligy?? I'll be waiting for your replies daggy...flynn and ashes!!

Depression

I'm depressed.. I'm just sitting here.. waiting for somehting exciting to happen in my life. All I do is: Go to school, come home, do homework,go to sleep. You try repeating this damn cycle for three hundred and sixty four and a quarter days every year. Atleast you ancient people meet new exciting people everyday at University, but I've practically memorised all the people that catch my bus.. the only thing that surprises me is if they're not there!
you see, it's time for a drastic change. Matbe I should quit school and go to TAFE... that would be a lot different, If only I was old enough!!

Hello again, fellow Digitopians. i am proud to announce that the level of my motivation has increased and therefore, i(the Snowman) will be spending more time blogging and a little(just a little) less time in the world of neopia...

Ok... now that i have that sorted out, i'm officialy announcing my latest (and best) story yet! I can tell it will be a best seller. i've even worked out how the government runs.
U're probably all thinking that i'm a freak and live in la-la land (yes you-daggy, skye and ashes). Well, how many of you could come up with a whole new world and a whole new civilization in just 1 day??
That is my last question before I begin the next issue which i wish to disscuss. Due to the lack of internet time, i have not been able to defend my self in this harsh land of Digitopia (where ppl just cant stop making a good joke out of the Snowman), but now the Snowman is armed and will not hesitate to attack.
